This year’s Los Angeles / Valley Pride GLBT Awareness Festival will be held on Sunday, October 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This is the seventh year for the festival, and the fifth time on the backlot of CBS Studio Center — located at the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Radford Avenue, just one block east of Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Studio City.

The festival site is the forty-seven acre CBS Studio Center backlot, where the exhibitors and entertainment venues will be situated in between the sound stages and the outdoor sets. Notable as the production site for Gunsmoke, Twilight Zone, My Three Sons, Gilligan’s Island, and the Mary Tyler Moore Show — Will & Grace, and That 70’s Show — Big Brother, CSI and Entertainment Tonight — and now Los Angeles / Valley Pride. The festival site will include a Main Stage as well as dance tents for dance, as well as country western. More than 100 commercial and community organizations will be exhibiting, including the Human Rights Campaign, Christ Chapel of the Valley, Equality California, Tinseltown Squares, Unitarian Universalists of Studio City, and more.
